The Art of Card Counting In Black Jack

The basic principle behind any card counting game is the fact that the high cards, particularly aces and the tens are better for the player and the low cards in particular the four, five, and the six, are good for the dealer. A high concentration of the aces and tens give a higher chance for the blackjacks that pay at 3:2 unless the dealer also has blackjack and the tens improve the value of doubling. A higher number of ten cards makes  the insurance bet more profitable since that is essentially a bet that the sealers cards is a ten value of the doubling. Low cards are usually good for the dealer, because the dealer must hit stiff hands unlike can either hit or stand according to the strategy. When there are ten busts all stiff hands they increase the chances of the dealer to lose.

Most people playing black jack believe that card counters do not need unusual mental abilities in order to count the cards and win, as emphasized by the casino movies that are normally shown. This is because they are not tracking the cards or memorizing specific cards. Instead, card counters normally assign point scores at each card that they see that estimates the value of that card, and they only track the sum of these values. Card counting assigns a positive, a negative, and a zero value to each available card value. When the card of that value is dealt that card’s counting and winning value will adjust the count. Low cards usually increase the percentage of the higher cards in the remaining shoe where the cards are kept, and we find that the higher cards lower them for the opposite reason. This high lo system is considered a single level count this is because the count never increases or decreases by more than a single value that has been predetermined value.

Many of the side techniques are there including the special purpose counts that are used when attacking the games with non-standard profitable player options such as the over and the underside bet. The main disadvantage of the higher level counts is that it is really hard to keep track of them , because the more information the more one is detracted from playing quickly or even skillfully and at times you are unable to play accurately. This means that one can earn more money playing at the lower levels because it is much simpler and the chances of one getting distracted are low. The complex games of black jack usually require that you are able to count and at the same time deal and bet. This is a lot of mental activity for one player and it does not help in the total attainment of the amount of marks that you need at the end to the game. It is normally easier to keep tract of the words when they are at the lower level. Unlike in other games gambling is a game of chance not practice but you find that an experienced hand is always better as they are more keener than one who is not used to the game when it comes to playing with the high rollers and those who are more experienced, for the higher stakes.
